About me
For me, therapy begins with
the relationship.

Hello, I’m Victoria.
I’m a BACP-registered person-centred counsellor, and I offer a warm, thoughtful and down-to-earth space for adults who may be finding life difficult, overwhelming or simply not quite how they would like it to be.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative and centred around you as an individual. I believe that therapy works best when you can be yourself and talk openly about your experience without judgement or pressure and at a pace that feels right for you.
My clients come from all backgrounds and walks of life, and there is no particular way you need to be or anything you need to have figured out before coming to counselling. Whatever has brought you here, I aim to offer a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard, respected and genuinely understood.

My path to counselling
Becoming a therapist has been a natural extension of the connections I have always made with people. My journey here has taken me along some unexpected and interesting paths — from a degree in engineering and a career in project management, to working in a wonderful local school, where I have had the privilege of working with children, families and the wider school community.
After many years, I decided to follow my passion for working with people and understanding what shapes our experiences. In 2021, I completed extensive training in psychosomatics, followed by a degree in Psychology and, finally, a Foundation Degree in Counselling. I have now established my private practice, offering counselling in Eastbourne and online.
Having experienced the value of counselling personally, I recognise how meaningful and transformative it can be to feel genuinely heard, understood and accepted. That experience, and my belief in the value of the therapeutic relationship, sit at the heart of the work I do today. I feel privileged to offer a space where people can slow down, explore what they are experiencing and feel truly heard.

A relationship built on trust
I believe that feeling heard, understood and accepted is at the heart of counselling. We will build a relationship where you can feel comfortable exploring what is happening for you.

Therapy shaped around you
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. We will work together in a way that respects your experiences, needs and what you hope to gain from therapy.

A warm and welcoming space
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be met with warmth, compassion and curiosity.
